I have downloaded models in *.DXF format, and near as I can tell (I'm not an AutoCad user, only know SolidWorks) they are all meshes, no solids. I want to get the things into SolidWorks somehow, so that I can edit them in a program that makes sense to me. Whenever I try opening them in SolidWorks as a part, however, it just opens up blank pages (I'm presuming due to the lack of solids..). Is there some kind of "fill to create solid" function or something in AutoCad so that I can then save it and open it in SolidWorks? Any help appreciated... Thanks
Kyle
