This forum eats up "<" and ">" characters, and the stuff in between...

More precisely, this forum interprets < and > as HTML code, which is a bit nerdy, but does allow for various little tricks, like quoting text in italics, which we've adopted as a bit of a local standard. As well as inline links and tables and images etc., within the bounds of taste and reason.

If you want to display actual < and > in a DesignCommunity forum message, use the HTML code for those characters:

&lt;   =   <

&gt;   =   >
