Great news!

Just to be clear, true Radiance-compliant .pic files cannot be opened by PaintShop Pro, since PSP doesn't support them. PSP does open Macintosh PICT files (though it expects them to have a .pct extension instead of the more common .pict).

I'm really surprised, actually; I'd have thought that if winimage could open it, that means it's already in Radiance format. If that were the case, you wouldn't really need to convert to TIFF and then back to pic; you could instead just rename the file and stick .pic on the end and all would be well.

What matters is that you're seeing things show up at last!
