I'm looking for a viewer to view 3D models created in 3Ds MAX (an equivalent of the SolidWorks Viewer).

Animations can be viewed on a quick time player, but how can 3D files be viewed and spun around (not edited) on a machine without 3Ds MAX installed?

As discreet work alongside Autodesk would you be able to achieve this by exporting the files to a format that Volo View can read? Or can Volo View read .3ds files anyway?

Any ideas?!?
