Bob Sprague, of Bytesyze Studio, is the master of making detailed furniture models in DesignWorkshop.

I believe his technique involves a combination of PowerCADD, DesignWorkshop, and the online machines for DesignWorkshop, especially the Lofting Machine.

I think he creates the individual polylines in PowerCADD, arranges them in DesignWorkshop, lofts them with the machine, and then assembles the various objects that make up a piece back in DesignWorkshop.

It is very fussy work and can take a great deal of time to get everything just so. Thankfully Bob makes his models available in PAKs which can be purchased from Artifice or Bytesyze Studio.
