Hello,
Thank you for contacting Artifice.
It sounds to me like the objects are coming in on the x-y plane (plan orientation) and you want them on the x-z or y-z planes.
To do this select all the objects you want to reorient. Then use the Arrange menu, Group Objects command. Go to an elevation view that shows the edge you want to tip up, this will usually be the East or West elevations. Now in the Angle field of the Object Info box you can enter "90" and it will tip up on its end as you want.
Instead of entering data in the Object Info box you could instead choose the Rotate Tool, SpaceJump to one of the two corner handles you see, hold down the Shift key ( to constrain the rotation to 45 and 90 degrees), and then click and drag up on that corner handle until it rotates to the proper orientation.
Once you have the window in the proper orientation you can use the Arrange menu, Ungroup command, or leave it grouped depending on your needs.
Please let us know whenever you have any further questions.
Best wishes,
Mike Wheeler
