With the advancement of structural analysis using digital computers and FEM methods, the firm of Ove Arup in London are actively involved in using the fractals and golden ratio, fibbonocci series in developing a structural form. Particularly of notewothy mention is Cecil Balmond. You can browse his web site and read his books.
