I understand drafting machines are rarely used now a days in architecture firms, and aren't of much use for elevations, floor plans and axons, but I wondered if anybody had put them to work utilizing their ability to aim at the vanishing point from any angle to construct accurate plan view perspectives. Now focusing on CAD I'm versed in VIZ4 and am greatly interested in learning a good parametric modeler. I was wondering which program was showing greatest promise in the field of architecture, CATIA or Revit?
