i think it is best when learning architecture to be in a place that doens't necessarily project any particular kind of architecture upon the students...
where i go to school the architecture buildings are former engineering buildings that were originally built as temporary structures and were designed by the engineering students and professors years ago... they are pretty strickly utilitarian which is nice. they don't carry the burden of any architectural theory or project any particular style or thought... they are just some big brick boxes with a steel skeleton...
i think its the perfect environment for learning b/c you never feel overwhelmed by your environment...it is like working on a blank slate |

| it is a nice thought ..that the architecture of the college shouldnt have an impact on us ... true ... i liked the utility part of ur explanation ... may be that cud shape it up ! ..thanq.... my idea was a little different though ..i wanted the place to be inspiring ... jus trying to get that on paper ! |
