I'm considering buying a home in a neighborhood called Old Louisville. It's the largest victorian neighborhood in the country. However, my plans would be to completely change the interior to make it completely modern. I feel like this would be a great project and with the right team I could make one of these homes amazing. But, on the other hand I feel that I'm ripping out the homes true character and history. What's your alls opinions on modernizing the interior of a late 1800s victorian home. The home would be all brick, 3 stories, approx. 4,500 sq. ft.
