Below are general comments after reviewing several hundred crash reports this morning.
Most crash reports were from PowerCADD 7.03 with a few from 7.04. Very few crash reports were seen from 7.05. Version 7.05 is available on the Engineered Software web site and it fixed several memory leaks that have the potential for computer slow down. In addition System 10.5 renumbered several fonts, which caused unnecessary font substitution when reading the file. The web site address is
EngSw.com
Call if you have problems updating.
Thanks.

Yes, unless I'm mistaken, there appears to be no manual update file to download. You have to follow the instructions, and do the update from within PowerCADD. _________________ Rob

Did anyone get an answer to this? My update noticing appears broken and my check for updates command does not work. This should be more routine and when updates are available the information should always be posted here and we should not have to rely on visiting the ES website. We are all busy....the s/w should help us stay current more than it does (it does not for me at all: OS 10.4.11 / PC 7.03 )

Have you tried calling or writing ES. They helped me sometime ago with an older update when the menu command did not work. There is a "manual" way to trigger the update and they can provide the step by step in an e-mail. I know it would be nice if it was posted right here but as you say "we are all busy" even the folks at ES who maintain the software, help desk and their own website. I haven't called them many times but they always took the call and helped.
Regards
