PREVENTABLE WATER LEAKS- AN ARCHITECTS OVERLOOKED NIGHTMARE

Until recently, I, like so many other colleagues in the building industry, overlooked the potential disasters that common flooding can do to the creations we make.
I found a product that everyone should check out. Flooding happens from all the unthought about places- water heaters, dishwashers, washing machines, and even ice makers in refrigerators.
The name of the product is LEAK-GUARDIAN, and I get it from a company called PETRO-METER, www.petro-meter.com, (516) 491-7233 The best part is that it only costs an unbelieveable $250 to start.
The reason for the heads up is as follows; some years ago, a client with an apartment building had each unit set up with their own washer/dryer combo. One of the washing machine hoses ruptured on the 4th floor, and as a result, he lost a wall and the ceilings on all three floors below. That represented more than $180,000 worth of damage.
Since I have been specifying the LEAK-GUARD for installation in all my projects, 12 of then have saved clients from faacing that kind of a loss.
If they had only had this product back when I was doing that apartment building... the agrevation I could have avoided!!!!!!
In addition, when I mention to my clients that they should consider protecting alll the dollars they put into their construction, they are unbelievably thankful that I'm up on the latest things like this.
