Several months ago I installed PCAD 8 on my intel machine and proceeded through the various upgrades as they became available from Engeered Software. Yesterday I had to rebuild my machine from scratch and reinstall PCAD 8. My original disk is a v.8.0.0 copy. I now need to upgrade the installation to the latest 8.0.4 version. I have replaced the "ES Update" folder and "Localized.rsrc" files as directed in the earlier 8.0.1 and 8.0.2 update instructions, however I keep getting the message in PCAD that "There are no updates available at this time" and there is no "Detailed Check" button available. Does anybody know how to get the latest update installed?

I'd suggest you contact ES directly -- this sounds like a support issue to me.

regards,
patrick

Thanks for your response. I contacted Mike Cleveland Direct at ES and he emailed me specific directions to update from 8.0.0 to 8.0.4 which worked.

Thanks,
Dennis

I am glad that I didn't offend you -- I think we rely on this forum so much that we forget that it isn't the "official" channel of communication with ES, just another invaluable resource.

good luck,
patrick
