Does anyone have experience with the LEED NC Application Guide for Multiple Projects? We have a development that will probably use this, but no experience with it so far.

If anyone can share some unforseen problems, helpful strategies, things to look out for, etc. I would appreciate it immensely! I'll help wherever possible to return the favor...

Thanks

I am also trying to figure out how to apply the Application Guide for Multiple buildings. We have got a couple of of large infrastructure projects in middle East for which the this guide seems very helpful. But so far, we are experienced with single buildings, so are really interested and equally anxiuos to know more about its application......

Please share your experiences if any one of you have come across similar projects...

Thanks,
Anoop.

I am trying the same for the first time for a project in Dubai with a school campus approach and potentially for couple porjects as well.
As i read it, it should be easy in few instances as it is really a application guideline only to be used with LEED-NC or LEED for Schools etc. Just attaching a note from USGBC as I had put forth my confusion to them as well - "Multiple Buildings & Campus application guidelines are not approved as a full LEED® rating system; rather, it is designed to work in tandem with other rating systems to help incorporate campus systems into a project comprising several buildings. Therefore, it would be most advisable to use the LEED® for Schools rating system in concert with the MB&C guidelines (attached) for the educational facilities – to be registered as one project – and LEED® for NC for the administration buildings, etc."
I would like if we can all share our experiences on the same.

A year after I first posted this question I have some experience dealing with the issue, and wrote a post on the subject:

and part II of the same post:

Hope this helps!

Joel
