| I am wondering why my email address was blocked on the original post. Anyway, I have not checked yet at the planning office to see whether there are public documents available about this ORI scheme yet. I saw a site plan when I was riding my bike near there(the proposed ORI site) on the riverfront. A anonymous source gave me a look at it. I remember it well. I have raised the parking lot to the edge of the river problem at a EWEB site planning meeting but they seem to have their hands full making up some very offensive plans for their site(with UO Arch. prof. Rowells help). There seems to be a contest,in my view, between ORI and EWEB, of who can get the cars to the riverfront edge first. The thinking seems to be this"new urban" crap where if we dare to leave a greenway buffer sprawl will destroy us all with global warming/whining. Eweb is creating bad plans and so is ORI. We can stop them both though with common sense. If you tell me where you can be found I will draw the ORI plan for you from memory. Also I will be snooping around the Atrium building to see if any paperwork has been filed. |
