IMPORTANT UPDATE: The USGBC has announced that the last day to sit for the LEED-NC v. 2.2 exam is June 30, 2009.
LEEDTeacher wanted to remind you to register for your LEED AP exam if you haven't already done so!
The transition to LEED 2009 will bring about some serious changes including:
• Project Experience Requirement: you will need to have experience working on a LEED project within the last 2 years to be considered to sit for the new LEED 2009 AP exam.
• Higher Exam Fees: there will be a $100 application fee plus a $450 exam fee for a total cost of $550 to take the new exam.
• Longer Test: the new test is going to be twice as long as the current version...that's right: 4+ hours.
