Hello, All.
Everything I've seen about DesignWorkshop Lite shows just how to do straight-edged items (with the exception of arches). I provide consulting services to companies in installing bike parking facilities, so need to include drawings of bike racks, most of which are curved.
I've gone through all of the tutorials, all of the help menu items, and all the online help, but can't find out how to draw a tubular object (preferably one that curves).
I'm a complete rookie when it comes to this program, as I only started working with it a couple of days ago. That said, I'm fairly computer literate and have used several graphics programs, so I learn quickly.
Jeff Morgan provided some good advice re: arches, but I believe I need a different tool for what I want to do.
Could anyone please provide me with some much-needed guidance?
Thank you kindly!

Hey there,
You should check out the On-line Machines at Artifice. Here is the link: http://www.artifice.com/machines.html
They are quick and easy to use. You can make your tubular bike rack design just as curvy as you would like...the Lofting Machine will create a single 3D object in seconds.
Have fun.

Thanks very much for pointing me in the right direction, Jeff. I'm practicing with that feature now. Not quite sure yet how to make it work, but I'm sure with time I'll figure it out.
At least now I know that I'm starting from the right point.
Much appreciated!
