No, but I'm sufficiently interested in the pioneering years of 1850's Iowa to persevere with reading all the bumph (hey, a summary would have helped!).
My comments would be that the end product seems to bear no resemblance at all to your stated intentions. You seem to have designed a dark, enclosed, concrete and metal standing-seam box. If the climate of Iowa is so harsh that a hard-surfaced strongroom is required, then maybe you need a different precedent.
Mind you, the idea of the cornfield as a precedent is fascinating and whimsical. The image of the framed structure with a strip of sky is interesting and I would have thought you would want to develop that precedent in some way, at least perhaps with a more open building, perhaps a fundamental view out to the expanse of blue sky above your head. _________________ Craig
