Hi,
I'm trying to 3D model my house and section in Chief Architect 9.5.
I am having problems creating terraces (horizontal to vertical to horizontal) in the terrain and end up with terrain spikes.
CA9.5 doesn't seem to handles sudden terrain changes well.
Joining two flat terrain polylines doesn't result in a nice clean vertical drop between them.
Has anyone here any ideas on how to do this ?
The only way I can get close is to create rooms that clip the terrain. So I make my lawn a room with a grass flloor and invisable walls,no ceiling, and the retaining wall is a railing...not an ideal solution.
Sofits over terrain holes might be another strategy.
Anyone know a better way ?
Thanks. |

P.S.... Does anyone know of any Chief Architect forums ?
I checked usenet and there is a chief architect group but it is empty...so is the archicad group.
Thanks. |
