euan,
What actually are you asking for here??? What is your definition of a digital artist???
One could go on for a very long time discussing the merits, definitions and classifications of a digital artist, but asking 'where do the real digital artist show their work online??' in a sweeping, all encompassing manner is only going to stir up bad feeling.
Perhaps that is why no-one else has responded and I am the only fool rising to the provocation.
If you would like to have at an interesting site that cover al manners of design, art 2D and 3D this one is quite good. http://rendervisions.com/modules.php?name=Gallery _________________ Anthony Lester

Hello,
I was very lucky to meet one....and we became good friends.....but he is now passed away.....his name was Robert Downing (a Great Canadian Fine Artist).
Mr. Downing had true fine digital art....that was un-touched. He was a true fine artist in Scupltures during the 60's and 70's, then found excitement in the computer when it started to arrive into our culture. One of his first works was a graph piece (looked like crap) but he had the idea of computer art before we all knew what computer'z w'r ....he he. Plus his work always had a "international" flair to it (with his journeys around the world and his love for other cultures)...kind'a rubbed off on his work
Not 100% sure if there are any web pages left for him, but if y'r really interested in the digital art pieces, just write to me and can send you some of his pieces in digital format (free of charge).
Anywho good luck with finding a Digital "Fine" Artist (not many around), dam I miss that old guy "Robert",
Sven
