I have made a 3d model in Autocad2002 which I want to render with materials. The default materialslibrairy in autocad isn't to my liking. Therefore I have found the Autovision cd with loads of materials. The problem is that when I load the materials librairy (extension *.mli) all of the materials render the same gray color. This doesn't happen with the default materials librairy (render.mli). Has anybody got advice on how to solve this problem?
Many thanks in advance!!

If you want a new texture why not just create a new one.
Click on the materials icon (or type rmat) and then click on new.
Here you can create a new material and pick the texture from the cd or your hard drive. I honestly have never tried to replace the .mli file so I am not sure on how it is done. I didn't need a completely new material library, just a few new materials.

If you need any more AutoCAD help perhaps go here...
