I just used the "Top Ten Posters" feature in the Members section and, leaving the option as Ascending, you get the bottom ten posters! 
me thinks a little tweak in the code is required.
See, I told you this is trivial.

It's kinda stupid, but that's the default in phpbb. There's actually an option to search by 'Total Posts', in which case 'ascending' gives you the bottom ten and 'descending' the top ten (as they obviously should). I don't really see the point of 'Top Ten Posters'. Seems superfluous and, as you noticed, even ridiculous at times.
