| both 5 star hotel and super speciality hospital each offer their set of challenges interms of services... . but a 5 star hotel can provide u with better oppurtunities to experiment and to wild with form making and detailing.... . even in a super speciality hospital u can still experiment on how to make the spaces even more condusive for healing... . so the choice is based on ur area of interest and strength.... . all the best!!!. |

| good answer architorture. Or if you do undertake the hotel/hospital one, really really challenge the spacial boundaries. Why does a hotel have to be based around single rooms; why not dormitories? etc etc. |

hey incase of a hotel ur study will involve more of luxxury items but in case of superspeciality hospital it involves study in terms of medical parameters which in itself is a very broad term
in my opinion superspeciality will involve a lot of study which is very difficult in 4 or 5months of time..........study in terms of specialities, study in terms of various instruments.......study in terms of space planning........in terms of the sophestication n all i mean steralised nvironment n all...........situATIONS OF EMERGENCY...............human psychology................luxury..........n list goes on..........where as a hotel building has certain fixed parameters and the time span available is also enough ........

i think that the superspeciality hospital would be better....being in Delhi, i know that india does NOt need any more luxury hotels!!! i mean come one tourists are reducing every year in number.....
i think the hospital has much more of a learning experience than the hotel...but then again if u wanna do a thesis just for the sake of doing it and wana simply pass then i suggest the hotle cuz it wud be easier to get info on it....plus there are tons of case studies for it too...so it really depends on what type of a studetn YOU r...none of us can decide for u we can only advise......
