help on internship

hi,iam a student of architecture.actually looking for help on my training options.i have a period of 6months for internship,and am right now open for any kind of suggestions.help on this aspect would be appreciated,for iam largely lost on the idea..."what is the right choice?" keeps bothering me.please also give me a list of architects...anywhere in the world.

Hello. I am not sure what type of internship you are interested in, but perhaps doing a search on the internet for "architecture firms + internships" might help. And, of course, put what type of architecture firm you're interested in.

If you just start by limiting your search to a particular building type, like "schools" or "hospitals" first that will help you decide.

Decide also, which firm you would like to work for, then find out what types of skills you will need. What type of software skills will they need? Call them and find out.

I can recommend many San Francisco Bay Area architects, but I do not know if that is of interest to you. Are you looking to work in a smaller, mid-size or large firm? I would recommend Arthur Dyson in Fremont, CA or for a larger firm - Gensler in San Francisco, CA.

hi,thanx for ur reply...now i have identified the area in which i want to work in.it being in the enivironmental and energy efficient architecture.and also low cost housing techniques.which are the best places to work in terms of experience and technique?how do u get ur job for internship in these places?what must one look for when one decides to work in this direction.
