| I am remolding my 40's-50's built kitchen, trying to keep or restore/replace as much of the original stuff as possible. I've been able to do just that w/ most everything except for one item...just below the sink (3-4 inches) is a metal vent that covers a 3x18 inch hole in the cabinet (for ventilation I assume). My question is....Where can I find a replacement for this, as mine is smashed in pretty good. do they even make these things anymore? And is there a specific term used for them?....Any tips would be much appreciated |

I direct you attention to Old House Journal magazine. They have frequently addressed period kitchen and bathroom rerstoration issues.
Best of luck. SDR |
