Huc,

Since you know something about this?

I see that the table tool is now part of the advance text tool. Can you now add or delete rows/columns?

The spelling function is also part of the advance text tool. Can you do a global spell check of all items at the same time?

Was the layer window upgraded? Can selected colors be actually seen now as what they were set as instead of black?

Yes

Yes; and to be clear there are two methods of spell checking. The old method to cover the whole drawing and one from from within the advanced text edit window. Both use the OS X System level dictionary, the one in the Advanced TExt edit window has other perks like spell as you type.

Yes to the first part, and I think Yes to the second but I'm not clear on your question. Did you read this?

Edit: added screen shot for question 1 of some of the table look/feel from Advanced Text

Good to see the improvements. That answers all my questions except partly the last one.

In PC7 when you look at the layer color in the color palette it always shows it as black although another color is really visible for the layer. I have an ACAD color palette loaded and the colors are numbered so I would like to see actually what color a layer is rather than the black color always shown. I hope this was corrected. Also will it be possible to move my ACAD color palette from PC7 to PC8.

I believe the screen shot below is a 'yes' answer to your question Smile

As to the ACad color palette. If you created a custom PCD7 color palette - yes - those are used by PCD8 (as was the case from PCD6 to PCD7). If you used a system level color palette (also an option in PCD7) then the answer is obviously yes since that color palette is stored at the system level

I hope that helps
Brian
