hey guys, had a weekend of fail. final project was due friday. went early to plot a 3'x 4' poster featuring a design for an "environmental outlook". long story short. illustrator file got too big, corrupted file some how. tried putting it back together but even the universities super buff computers have serious issues rendering the file. what can i do to reduce my file size AS I GO. and can these tips me not as obvious as saving in a a smaller format... tried saving as most files formats or crapier PDFs but most the time the file was still too big to save or rastersize into JPEG or TIF.
any suggestions would be awesome. one prof said to reduce every rez to 150 dpi buuuut that seems a little shifty. right now at about 300 i can see going down to 200 though.
anyways, any suggestions would be appreciated. _________________ busy~ |
