Obama Dividend! The US Government is hiring!

My best guess is: If you know 2 languages proficiently, and you have a college degree (or even if you don't), I would strongly urge you to consider applying for a job with the United States government. If you know 3 languages, you look very good indeed.

The CIA is hiring. The FBI is hiring. And certainly, the military services, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, they are all hiring now. But there are dozens of other agencies who could use your skills, from Immigration to Social Security to Drug Enforcement.

As demonstrated in the attacks on PetitionOnline, the world is not a peaceful place. It is very complicated, very integrated, very dependent on each other.

I could not recommend any of these applications in the Bush administration, especially with the Iraq war going on, with the exception being a "witness" to the rights and wrongs of what was going on.

But now, call it the Obama dividend, I see American citizens, AND persons who understand America and all that it offers, to all of us I strongly recommend service to this country.

Let me say ANOTHER something that could get me in more trouble:

With all our faults, with all our mis-steps, I believe the REBORN United States of America may turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to our country in 20 years, and to the rest of the World, and even to the World of Islam, in my humble opinion.

In my best non-scientific guess, I think that for every Catholic School that is closed, probably 5 Muslim schools open up across America.

The Muslim faith is probably the fastest growing cultural entity in the States, and if you know English and Pashtun, or English and Farsi, English and Korean, I think our government would like to hear from you.

And likewise to all our brethren in Iran, be Safe, be Strong, Love to all of you.
