HI All,

I am new to this forum and just started working with the design workshop software. Was wondering if any of you pros or students can give me some general ideas on how to handle a space I plan on redoing in the near future. It is basically one side of my home. I am going to eventually hire and arc. for the project but would love to come to them with some ideas already worked out.

Here is a basic idea of the space:

This space must house the Kitchen, Dining Area (non Formal) and a Family/living room.
The only constraint I can think of is the existing sewer placement
The cloths washer and dryer are also in this space along with the normal kitchen appliances.

Not looking for alot of detail just how would you layout the space to accomidate everything and how big is to big when planning rooms.

Thanks for any input, I find I am to influenced by its current layout to come up with any good ideas!!
Later!!

Hi

I'm an architect and I will be happy to help you but I need more information. It's important to know the location of the project and the surroundings because of a climatic point of view, relationship with the street, etc.

Send me more information and I will be able to help you.

Yours,

Damian Trostinetzky

Thank you Damian,

I have updated the image with some more information.

Also the home is located in Southern California, so lots of sun.
The front yard is mostly grass, with all the car parking at the side of the house, so nothing up front.

Thanks again, looking forward to seeing your ideas!!

Any other details you need let me know!
