Mr Fletcher, sir -- Thank you for the tour. I spent my youth in suburban New York and made occasional forays into the Park (I believe a visiting older cousin took me out in a rowboat, once, from the Loeb Boathouse? -- I wasn't a very good navigator, as I recall) but I have never seen the majority of your architectural subjects. The Belvedere Castle is a marvel -- what are we to think of the anti-seismic capability of the"little" canopy near the summit of this structure? The 3-bay-by-5 pavilion is delightful, probably outdone by the ex-trolley shelter! Are the 85th St and 94th St Reservoir Bridges built and/or trimmed in cast iron? The "Gothic Bridge" is, rather (surely), a unique example in New York of an Art Nouveau bridge, don't you suppose? Anyway, a marvelous day in the Park, thank you very much!
