| How do I draw an 3D octagon shape in DesignWorkshop? I tried the Poly-Wall tool, but I couldn't get it to work. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. |

Deborah,
Greetings from http://www.visionjem.com/! To make an octagon in DW you use the circle tool. Just changed the Circle Faceting to the number you desire, in this case 8, and create your circle. To extrude the octagon you can Space Jump to a corner and drag it up with the 'alt' key pressed - or - you can simply type in your 'Vert' dimension in the Object Info window. To change the Circle Facet setting in DW you go Layout/Preferences/Circle Faceting.
Hope that helps!
See ya,
