the problem with conspiracy theories has been highlighted in the last few days.

if there was one "theory" that I kept being told about it was the alleged cover-up of an alleged child-- potential abuse - ring in the White House. It all seemed a bit far-fetched to me, but over a period of several years it kept coming back.

and guess what ? As if rent-boy Gannon wasn't bad enough, those hanging around the White House seem to be found to be worse and worse. Talk about the "pages of history" ....

I just hope that the "theories" about the massive build-up of armour in Lebanon and naval forces in the eastern Med, with more US Carrier Groups heading for the coast of Iran, do not mean what the "conspirators" think that they mean. The "theory" goes that a US Carrier will be sunk as a false-flag operation to give a reason for attacking Iran and Syria (Cheney's "next 9.11").

Opinions vary, but my conspiratorial guess is the Eisenhower, over 1,000 foot long with five or six thousand personnel aboard - but it is getting elderly for a warship.

And when is this apocalypse meant to happen ? Around late October ... what year was it ? Oh yes, 2006. (In time for the US elections).

To anyone interested, the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower sailed from Norfolk, Va on the third of October.

Over the last year and a half, I certainly have disagreed with you, and learned the too often, awful truth, months after your predicitons, that you were right in most cases.

On the child - potential abuse - issues at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and the boy-toy escort guy signing in 95 times into the White House, is this actual FACT?

On the Abu Ghurab and Guantanamo situations, where the rumor is that the homosexual attacks and humiliations on prisoners were "ordered", and video taped, and photographed, as per instructions from higher ups...is this actual FACT?

On the rumor that Karl Rove's grandfather was the engineer who physically designed and built one of the Nazi death camps... Birkenau or something, is this actual FACT?

Is the America that we knew and loved, dead? Not if good Americans can help it!!!!

On the rumor that Rumsfeld participated in the ??? interrogation (some say abuse) of a suspected Al Qaeda terrorist... is this actual FACT?

On the rumor that the Congressional Page issues by Foley are much more extensive than just one Congressman, and may include news agency personnel... FACT?

Bottom line, I know of at least three Army officers who had the courage, and the strength to refuse to participate in the "games". And some general officers who actually retired rather than continue with the "games".

From what I heard, the actual truths are over-the-top truisms that will never see the light of day, and are unprintable, unmentionable, contrary to every aspect of the America we used to believe in.

Problem is...too many of the conspiracy stories are sadly, sadly, true. I don't know what to believe in anymore, or who to believe. Any theory seems plausible, with the dirt we already know.

Sacrificing 5000 of our American servicemen????? I want to say you are absolutely, positively WRONG!!!! But God forbid.....?!?!

Ed

what matters is whether or not those who lied America into attacking Iraq are going to lie America into attacking Iran.

you want to do something about it ? then help throw the bums out.

Quote:
In an article in the Washington Post two months ago, Dr Kissinger argued for taking a tough line against Iran's nuclear programme.

Otherwise, he warned, "every country... will face growing threats, be they increased domestic pressure from radical Islamic groups, terrorist acts or the nearly inevitable conflagrations sparked by the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction".

It sounds almost identical to the argument put forward by Vice-President Dick Cheney on the eve of the invasion of Iraq. Only tough action will make us safe.

The implication of that theory is already being played out in Iraq.

There is growing evidence Iran may be its next test.

Rich...

In a historical context, whenever a military relies on a single concept, such as a "Carrier Attack Group", then enemies eventually find the wink link and counter that strength.

So an attack against a huge carrier would be most likely in the short term to beat the United States, but would be suicide militarily in the long run.

On the same diabolical thought process, however, I can see the ruthless Al Qaeda using a passenger airline to either "buzz" the carrier fleet in some hijack scenario, hoping to be "shot down", or maybe even hijacking a civilian airline and aiming it at the carrier group.

Then, of course, blaming the United States for the entire incident, for political and military gains. The world seems to have spiraled down into that "mega-death" tit for tat, and this government is more than willing to jump into the dance for any real or imagined or contrived reason, a very dangerous strategy if you ask me.

And, with all this arrogance and pride, to my horror, America CAN lose!!!

It sickens me.
