a client wants me to render his pre drawn auto cad elevations i am going to use the SUPERHATCH command. this is a new service for me, how do i charge for it? OR how do i find this information?

In my past experiences, it is best to charge an hourly rate for this type of work. You can "attempt" to give them an overall price, but make sure that you don't "shoot yourself in the foot" so to speak. You may want to check around locally to find out the going rate for hourly drafting considering what experience that you possess.
Superhatch looks nice if pulled off correctly, but it appears to take some time. You still have to adjust your materials in Photoshop before hatching giving you an overall color scheme vs. having a deep red brick with faded green window panes. |
