being the principal at a large national firm say like, gensler, you would be making 7 figures easily

Well I am not making that much and I have been working at different
architectural offices since 1989. Maybe it is different in America. Now I feel
"well paid" but I am still not making that much. Thank God I found a good
investment program (Pips Inc Forum is the place to be). Besides I am also
interested in the other cleative fields.

Me? In Europe. I am working directly under the boss as an architect, there
are just a few of us at the office. I do anything from taking drawings to
the digital form from measuring buildings, interior design details, compe-
titions, I use 2 different programs for town planning layouts and coloring,
designing extensions and renovations.

when we say 30-35k we are talking dollars...in euro that would be a bit less...

Actually I am not working a full week, only 140 hrs a month. Probably it
would go up to 30k if I was working 160-180 hrs a montn but I also have
a other responsibilities and interests (for which I really have time over the
weekends).

* Deadlines are commonplace and often require overtime and evening work, which could affect your bottom line salary.
