The idea is, steel allows for a more flexable internal plan, and can span greater distances.

ah I see, so is it not 'popular' as it is not widespread, or not widespread as there is no demand?

I have an MArch(hons) but not yet qualified, can I do stuff for people without getting insurance, is it legal? If I say, 'plans only' just up to planning permission, its in the uk.
