Well, you need to really think about what kind of architecture you want to create. Remember that this project is really all about you. Do what you what you love because all things in life relate to architecture.
It may be overwhelming at first but once you really sink your teeth into a couple solid concepts you will begin to really develop a passion for something. Any initial ideas? _________________ Ted

i am happy to get an advice for my topic
thank u for gfiving sometime to my topic.
Basically i love the art of making modelmaking in general.
it might be making model in studio or might be in practical.
I dont have any thought to it because i dont know from here where to go.
I AM CONFUSED.
My aim is to understand the way models are made for presentation in practice. Does model play an important role in an architect's life? How does a model helps in understanding the spaces within an building to a client? Is 3-d model in computer better than a real model made by hand in different scales? i dont know what type of architecture this can create?
I know that it might not be great thesis but i will be happy with little also.
For me thesis is what i feel to work on. |

Model making is a huge aspect to what we do as architecture whether it is computer generated or not. What may be interesting is if you attempt to design architecture that brings back the concept of physical models. Lets be honest, unless the client requests it, physical models are fast becoming a thing of the past with the boom of 3D computer modeling.
Computer modeling is much more provacative and allows users to see the build in several different scales, and to change materials and light as necessary. But many people can envision the project more clearly with a physical model. So maybe you could do a project that gets back to the roots of architecture, with heavy emphasis on hand-drawings and physical model-making. Just an idea...
But I do think you have a great topic here... to take something that we use in the profession to represent architecture, and actualy take that concept and use that representation to form your design. Very fascinating stuff. Definately keep me posted on your progress. _________________ Ted
