I'm an architecture student and am in need of some help.
I am working on a project for materials class and have chosen straw bales as my material. My project requires a presentation board that I was hoping to add a small sample to. I was wanting to show the various stages the bale goes through by applying a clay-slip, wire mesh and the various coats of lime plaster.
Does anyone know where I might be able to find lime in small quantity? Might lime putty be an option? I am not in need of something that will require resistance of water but at the same time, I want it to be as accurate as possible. Any ideas? |
