How many architects and designers are using the Revit models and SketchUp?

Currenly, we only use the 3DS MAX, and PS (so CAD files are normally used)

I have read the software's using, if we get Revit models from clients and before starting rendering, we have to import all of the information from Revit to Max, then rebuild all of the models there, for it may miss something. Is that right? I want to know more about it.

Thank you for your help!!
