| While I am optimistic that the country will improve over time...I'm quite nervous about the division I'm seeing today. Granted, it's been less than 24 hours since Obama was declared the President-Elect. But I personally have seen this amount of die-hard hatred coming from the sides... Granted, I'm young, but in the past 3 elections that I have been able to vote in, and the past 8 elections I've been around for, I can't recall it being this bad... Not saying it hasn't been, but still. With the country in shambles right now, the last thing we need is to be at each other's throats... |

Tertiary.... I am hearing amazing things too.
But let people rant and ventilate. It's a good thing. Just remind yourself, you can always take back what you never say, let others make jackasses of themselves.
Some of these radio hosts will be living with these mistakes for the rest of their lives.
The ones you have to worry about are the ones who don't say anything.
Order up the popcorn and enjoy the show. _________________ Ed Ziomek |

I just got done reading Wicked I can understand how a woman can change over time.
Did McCain talk this bad about his first wife? If I was advising, Palin I would suggest getting at least four of McCain's houses.
The kid at the local lumberyard mentioned the country of Africa and Mrs. Palin today..... and that our new national anthem was....

Comedy knows no limits.
W is being very gracious and has been helping the Obama team prepare for the transition even before the election. Something that Bush did not receive from the disgusting Clintions. _________________ n/a |

another one. W loves history, refers to it offen as to how he will be judged in the future. He has never let the poles "get to him". I have yet to understand why. As a young man I remember the Jimmy Carter's face change horribly as events dictated his presidency, Reagan seemed to dictate events. Bush 1 was no Reagan. Clinton just chased tail. It would seem that GW most certainly dictated. Most of the great presidents do. T
The president is privy to information. You're not stupid with information. Obama gets this information now. Did Bush know change was coming? _________________ n/a |

Find the oxymoron in that headline. He didn't reach to moderate republicans but "the taliban", are you kidding me? ally with the "moderate taliban" to fight the extreme taliban? and he has to mull this over. Mull Mr. President mull. Throw money at 'em. _________________ n/a |

I'm curious as to where the "moderate taliban" stand on this issue of womans rights. How about the "liberal taliban?" should we side with them?

I personally would like us to get out of Afghanistan. This means that the people there are going to have to live together and not harbor extremist like Al Queda
If you want to go over there and make it your mission to change their culture than go for it. I personally believe the best way to lead is by tolerance and example. True it wont change them over night but nothing will.
If the country is at least stable we can then spend money on education and other things that will make those peoples lives better instead of spending money on war. _________________ -Chris Stewart
