Well, Regional Architecture is also my interest when I was a student...
I find "Regional Architecture" is a topic that one can easily be mislead into.
I dont know what exactly u have in mind but if u are thinking about how locals create architecture according to their living style-that type of regional architecture u can try to search "VERNACULAR ARCHITECTURE" in libraries. Then u should find books about tribes and smaller settlements which are not builders but built houses to meet with their needs
