| My old imac G5 just died. On the bright side I just purchased a new intel imac. My question is , will PC 7 with WT 8 run alright on my new imac? Another question, should I upgrade to PC 8? |

PC8 has many improvements over PC7. Definitely worth the upgrade, along with moving to WT9. And it runs native on Intel Macs. Since I made the switch to Intel Mac at the same time as PC8/WT9, I don't know how older versions run on Intel machines.
Really, why would you want to run old software on a new machine? |

| I concur with Mike -- if you can afford it, PC8 is well worth its price. It runs much better than PC7. |

However, PC7 actually runs better on an Intel machine than it does on a PPC machine.
Still, I'd strongly recommend upgrading to v8. _________________ John Cruet
