I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but one thing I would like to see:
Under PC6, when I use the 'clean up drawing' action from the 'tool' pull down menu, the default setting has no object types selected. This is fine if one wants to troubleshoot a drawing and calculate each type of object. Usually though, I just want to hurry up and clean up the drawing and get back to work. Each time I use this tool, I have to select the object types to clean up.
It would be nice ifwe had the option to:
a) select all object types with a single click
and/or
b) have the selected object types 'stick' from one tool use to the next (so I don't have to repeatedly select them as I clean up a number of drawings)
thanks,

| AutoCAD's "Overkill" tool (part of Express Tools) admittedly does a much better job than PowerCADD's Cleanup Drawing tool. AutoCAD lets you do all the same things PowerCADD does, but it'll trim and fix overlapping line segments, join lines that are butted end to end, and it will still flag duplicate objects even if they are rotated 180°. Sorry for veering slightly off the original topic. |
