| What would happen if you exturded a cube @ 'xyz' 0, 1mm x 1mm and typed " three miles high" in the object info window ? Would you get a view of the planet from space and would the miles be converted to kilometers if the preference was metric? |

Okay, I'll bite.
How about trying it yourself and let us know?
The Object Info Window only accepts numbers and the foot (') and inches (") marks. The unit applied to the number entered into any field is set in the Dimentions dialouge box (Ctrl+'), so if you set it to mm that would be 1 000 000 mm = 1 km.
All you would see is something like a very tall line within the standard grid, nothing special. |

Once again I don't know if I shoud pose a new question here or return to post.
I want to export a 2D in a shaded view in something other than Quicktime. When I export a 2D in lights and textures I have a pixel image option and when I save it to pictures the windows viewer can be dragged into windows movie maker. I have managed to print to fax and save to my pictures but I am sure there is a better way.
Thanks for your input, Greg |
