Envision Oregon tonight!

"It is now our opportunity and our responsibility to be Oregon's visionaries. We can't expect someone else to do it for us."
-- Dominic DiPaolo

Dear friends,

Join us on Thursday, May 3rd, 6-9 pm on the University of Oregon campus for a town hall forum about the future of our state as Envision Oregon "Round 2" kicks off in Eugene.

Last year more than 1,000 Oregonians from around the state gathered in Envision Oregon "Round 1" to identify common values and develop a vision for the future.¬? This year the discussion continues in "Round 2" as we refine the vision and begin the work of making it a reality. ¬?We hope you will join your friends and neighbors in this conversation.

How do we retain the character of our communities while strengthening our economy? ¬?How is land use planning connected to quality of life? ¬?Come help answer these questions as we discuss them and other topics, including:

* Towns and Neighborhoods
* Jobs and the Economy
* Land Use Fairness (a.k.a. "What to do about Measure 37?")
