Axon or Oblique

Postby Pooya_k » Fri Dec 16, 2005 12:21 am

HI. can anybody help me get an axonometric or plan oblique view of a 3d model?

I would highly appreciate it.

That's as easy as selecting axonometric from the view menu... but perhaps you meant something a little different? The more details you provide the better the forum members can help you.

plan oblique

Isometric is easy, but axonometric and plan obliques are another story. I haven't been able to find a way during the hour or so that I've looked. For those of you who don't know, axonometrics and plan obliques are measured. This means that every line on the drawing is proportional to the actual length of the corresponding line on the model. Plan obliques are unique in that all of the corners on the horizontal planes are square, so you can take the plan right off of the drawing.
