Green Gas Station: Why not?

Postby lorettahall » Sat Apr 10, 2010 6:17 pm

I think it's completely appropriate, considering the fact that the construction and operation of buildings consume twice as much energy in this country each year as the entire transportation sector (see http://www.architecture2030.org/current_situation/building_sector.html). Besides, isn't any green building better than a non-green version?

I agree -the building is as important as the product.

That being said this particular building is very poor and has much more to do with being flashy and hip than green.

Perhaps the irony of this building is a little more obvious from the present vantage point?
