The building is approximately 6 metres (tywenty feet) in span and approximately 8 metres (twenty six feet) in length. This conversion takes you to a total floor area of approximately fifty square metres (five hundred and twenty square feet) unless my metric/imperial conversions are mistaken. I would although agree with you that by some western standards that this would be considered a small house. But in some countries where the most need for low cost housing exists this size of house is quite acceptable.
