I contracted to have a new roof installed on my home last November 2002. The shingles were delivered last year and placed on top of the roof, bent over the ridge. However due to the bad new england weather, the roofer was unable to do the job this past week, ie March 23-26, 2003. Does anyone think the shingles might have been damaged sitting bent over the ridge for an entire winter? If there are cracks in the shingle where it was bent over the ridge, does the asphalt "reseal" itself in the hot weather? Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks!
