If you like mid-century modern architecture, take a look at the homes built by Joseph Eichler in the US (California) from about 1949 through 1970. He was influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright. Post and beam construction, with lots of floor-to-ceiling glass. Many also have atriums. I live in one here in San Jose, California.
Go to www.eichlersocal.com -- and go to the gallery page -- Lots to look at there. Also you can check out Eichler related chat at www.eichlernetwork.com. Some of these sites also have blueprints available.
You might also try a search under "cliff May" - he was an architect that built in the Eichler style.
Good luck. Your lot sounds beautiful!
