2020 Kitchen Design vs. Interior Decorating Classes

Hello! I'm looking for input on what career opportunites are out there for someone with 20/20 kitchen design training? My company will be putting me through a month long program in August and has approved me to adjust my schedule to take Fundamentals of Interior Design at the local community college. I'm wondering which will be worth more dollars in the "real" world, or job marketplace? Any thoughts or advice will be appreciated!
